2. Qualification of the installation - ZZR

The LNG regasification station located in Głowno, ul. Łódzka 2, has been classified as a plant with an increased risk of a serious industrial accident due to the amount of the stored hazardous substance. The station is subject to regulations on counteracting industrial accidents.

In accordance with Articles 250 and 251 of the Act of 27 April 2001 - Environmental Protection Law (Journal of Laws 2022, item 2556, as amended), Solan Investment Sp. z o. o. has submitted a notification and submitted an accident prevention program

competent authorities: the State Fire Service and the Provincial Environmental Protection Inspector.

3. Description of the plant's activities

Solan Investment sp. z o. o. is responsible for ensuring reliable and safe transport of LNG and natural gas through technological installations to power the company's boiler rooms.

The purpose of the facility is as follows:

• storage of liquefied natural gas LNG,
• LNG regasification,
• gas heating to eliminate flow disturbances during isenthalpic throttling,
• gas pressure reduction with a protection system against excessive increase in outlet pressure,
• measurement of the volume of gas flowing through the station,
• gas odorization with tetrahydrothiophene (THT) – in order to give the gas a characteristic smell, to increase the safety of gas distribution through the technological installation.

The existing station is a maintenance-free facility. Technological processes and the operation of security systems are fully automatic. The station's operation will be monitored 24 hours a day using the SCADA system by the dispatcher Solan Investment sp. z o. o.
